About the 1st Line Support Engineer role
As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will act as the first point of contact for all IT issues, whether it’s password resets, software troubleshooting, or hands on support for laptops and networks. You will work across a variety of London locations, supporting both Windows and Mac users and collaborating closely with 2nd Line Engineers to deliver a first class IT service.
What the 1st Line Support Engineer will be doing
Logging and resolving tickets quickly and accurately through the helpdesk system
Providing hardware, software and network troubleshooting for end users
Supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration (user accounts, permissions, access)
Installing and configuring new equipment and applications
Keeping clear documentation and updating knowledge bases
Delivering professional on site and remote support across London offices
What the 1st Line Support Engineer will bring
Around 2 years’ experience in a 1st Line Support Engineer, Service Desk Engineer or Helpdesk Analyst role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing tools
Confidence supporting both Windows and Mac environments
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Eagerness to learn and progress, with interest in achieving Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate or Administrator Expert certifications
