1st Shift Forklift Driver

CPS Wood Products is looking for a 1st Shift Forklift Driver for our Shipping Department to join our team!

Job description/Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all cut operations follow the cutting schedule provided by the Supervisor
• Measure all lifts of lumber to make sure it meets dimensional & specification requirements
• Able to read and understand load sheet configurations and load trailers accordingly.
• Experience with RFID Scanners is a plus!!!!
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Ensure that cutting operators follow all quality and safety procedures while operating machinery
• Remove all inspected cut lumber from the saw operations and store it in a neat and organized manner in the pre-designated cut saw area
• Supply the correct lumber to all operating cutting operations in a timely manner
• Advise Supervisor or Team Lead of non-conforming product
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area at all times
• Work in connection with other forklift operators to ensure a smooth and efficient product flow
• Must be able to read/learn load sheet schematics
• Back up other forklift duties, where trained as required
• MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE!Qualifications:-Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
