Academic Recruitment Liaison

Job Description:
Summary:
The Academic Recruitment Liaison is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clinical academic regional programs for sourcing and recruiting hands-on licensed and unlicensed nursing patient caregivers in addition to other clinical positions including but not limited to Scrub Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and Laboratory Technicians.
Coordinates on site academic visits for every regional academic clinical program for each semester of the academic year. Facilitates the Ballad Health academic site visits including operational clinical leaders and educators as appropriate.
Provides key information to academic faculty and clinical students on scholarship and tuition reimbursement access for students, opportunities for employment, directions for employment application process, and programs for participation during the student's academic program.
Promotes attributes of Ballad Health clinical role employment including professional development opportunities for employed team members.
Maintains positive relationships with clinical program directors and instructors facilitating communication with clinical operational leaders. Performs facility on site rounding with clinical student rotations during the semester.
Works closely with other team members of the Human Resources recruitment team to facilitate timely follow through for academic clinical student application, interview and offer for vacant clinical positions.
Organizes and attends clinical role recruitment activities including participation in creation and revision of recruitment materials and brochures.
Facilitates introduction of clinical / nursing programs to high school students.
Must travel between Ballad Health facilities and throughout the region to academic/educational/training program sites.
Individual shall possess a thorough knowledge of professional nursing standards, as well as Ballad Health policy and procedures.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, bachelor's degree preferred.
Competent in computer skills, including MS Office programs.

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid licensure to practice as a professional registered nurse in the appropriate state.
Valid motor driver's license required.
