Accounts Assistant

Swanstaff are currently looking for an experienced Part-time Accounts Assistant to join our well respected client based in Sidcup. This client provides London with a bespoke recycling service to businesses of all sizes. **Job/Duties**: - Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely - Perform data entry tasks to update financial records and maintain accurate documentation - Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements - Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate calculation of employee wages - Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures - Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes **Requirements**: - Sage line 50 - Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role - **Proficient in using accounting software Sage is essential**: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculation - Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices - Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team **Benefits**: - Weekly Pay - every Friday - Accrued Holiday - PAYE only - no umbrella companies! - Refer a friend scheme **Salary**: £12.50 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Sidcup: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Accounting: 1 year (required) - Sage line 50: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
