Accounts Officer 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Lester Egg Limited A family run business is looking for a motivate, skilled finance professional to join a growing business. Working directly under the MD this role offers a wide range of opportunity within the firm. Some previous experience with in finance and finance software such as Sage 50 is preferred. Salary is negotiable upon experience and skills. **Responsibilities**: - Perform financial accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data - Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors - Assist in financial management activities, such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes - Mentor and train junior accounting staff to ensure their professional growth and development **Experience**: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent - Must have experince in Sage50 - Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting - Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication and interpersonal skills **Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Flexitime - Free parking - On-site parking - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Flexitime - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's (preferred) **Experience**: - accounting: 2 years (preferred) Ability to Commute: - Dunstable (preferred) Work Location: In person
