Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary position.
Assists in the routine care of clinical and biomedical research animals by performing such duties as feeding, watering, cleaning, handling, and transporting animals.

 

Unit Position Summary

Provide daily animal care for biomedical research animals including rodents, rabbits, sheep, cats, dogs, guinea pigs and other species; ensure food and water are available and animals are healthy; report veterinary concerns; clean cages/kennels; general facility cleaning and refuse disposal; available to work weekends and holidays to provide animal care.

Desired Qualifications

Experience working with rodents and other animals. Certification at ALAT level.
