SummaryAs a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. The Product Marketing Manager will own and drive the product centric marketing strategy for Apple Watch, Home and Audio in India. A critical function of this role is to be the spokesperson for their product in market. The Product Marketing Manager is part of a team of product experts who champion products within their respective markets and seek innovative ways to keep our products at the heart of the customer conversation.Description- Articulate the product opportunity in India and provide product insight and leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the Marketing and Sales organisations - Execute product launches with excellence every time - Contribute to the annual Marketing plan, outlining opportunity and actions that lead growth and category leadership - Be the liaison between India and Worldwide for all local business needs and feature requirements. Influence the product feature roadmap, making clear recommendations that improve customer experience - Become a visible and vocal member of the Product Marketing team - Be the guardian of product messaging & positioning across every customer touch point, advancing the cause of excellence - Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and strategies. Make pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams - Build a sphere of influence across multiple internal functions / divisionsMinimum Qualifications10 years experience in product marketing, mobile communications.Spoken and written English fluencyPreferred QualificationsBuilds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutionsAbility to surprise and delight our customers’ experiences through innovative, thoughtful detailsUses knowledge of business drivers, how strategies and tactics play out in the market, to guide actionsBuilds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesTechnical fluency and the instinctive ability to be the voice of the consumerExcellent analytical skillsDepth of technical awarenessStrategic planning expertiseSuperior storytelling capabilitiesPresentation/negotiation skillsPrior work with international teams in a multi-national company is a plus
