Assistant Office Manager
<p><strong>Office Manager</strong></p><p>Full-Time | In-Office (Not Remote)</p><p><br></p><p>Coman Publishing ( a division of On3 Media) is looking for a highly organized, detail-loving, people-friendly <strong>Office Manager</strong> to keep our operations running smoothly.</p><p><br></p><p>If you enjoy wearing multiple hats, solving problems, working with numbers, helping customers, and being the go-to person in the office, this could be a great fit.</p><p><br></p><p>This is not a sit-back-and-coast role. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and important. The right person will thrive on responsibility and take pride in keeping everything organized, accurate, and moving forward.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p>You’ll serve as the operational hub of the office, supporting circulation, accounting, and customer service functions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Daily Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Answering customer calls and emails with professionalism and warmth</li><li>Entering and managing subscription data accurately</li><li>Recording daily sales and preparing bank deposits</li><li>Coordinating mail pickups and post office runs</li><li>Processing outgoing mail and renewal materials</li><li>Managing office supplies and equipment</li><li>Supporting internal communication and document organization</li><li>Assisting with circulation and editorial needs</li><li>Handling administrative tasks and problem-solving as they arise</li></ul><p>No two days are exactly the same — and that’s part of what makes it interesting.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of office management, bookkeeping, or customer service experience</li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Mail Merge experience is a plus)</li><li>Comfortable working on a Mac</li><li>Excellent phone and email communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks</li><li>Self-directed, dependable, and proactive</li><li>Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li></ul><p>Experience in publishing or mail-based businesses is helpful, but not required.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Position Details</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time, on-site (40 hours/week)</li><li>Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch)</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Salary: $45,000 annually</li><li>Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off</li><li>Permanent position (not seasonal or temporary)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Who Will Love This Job?</strong></p><p>Someone who:</p><ul><li>Likes structure but can adapt when needed</li><li>Enjoys helping customers</li><li>Finds satisfaction in keeping things organized</li><li>Takes ownership and pride in their work</li><li>Wants to be an essential part of a small, collaborative team</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
