Pegasus Staff Services are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and supportive team based in Burnaston, Derbyshire.

IMMEDIATE START!! This is an ongoing contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Battery Bay / Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery and controlling systems efficiently. You’ll also be responsible for general warehousing and decant duties, along with any additional tasks required to support the smooth running of the department.

We’re looking for proactive, punctual individuals with a can-do attitude. Previous warehouse experience is not required-full training is provided!

Key Information

• You will be operating specialised machinery (training will be provided) and controlling systems - this job will require attention to detail and good concentration.
• This is a manual, hands-on role and can be physically demanding
• Involves repetitive light and medium lifting, with occasional heavier items
• Includes bending, kneeling, and working in a busy goods distribution environment
• Own transport is essential due to shift times and limited public transport access

Hours of Work

Weekly rotating shifts:

• Mornings: 05:30 – 14:30 (may differ slightly)
• Afternoons: 15:00 – 00:00 (may differ slightly)

Pay Rate

• £12.80 per hour
• Overtime paid after 45 hours
