Central Tooling Attendant

As a Central Tooling Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our aircrafts are properly maintained and ready for takeoff. Responsible for maintaining and organizing all tools and equipment used for aircraft maintenance at the main maintenance base in Atlanta, Georgia. Perform regular inventory checks to ensure all tools are accounted for and in good working condition. Prepare and distribute tools and equipment to maintenance technicians as needed. Collaborate with maintenance team to anticipate and fulfill tooling needs for upcoming projects and aircraft maintenance. Follow established procedures for proper handling and storage of tools to ensure safety and prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects or malfunctions and report to the appropriate personnel for repairs. Maintain accurate records of tool usage and maintenance for tracking and auditing purposes. Assist in the procurement and disposal of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Train new maintenance technicians on proper tool usage and storage procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements for tooling management. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing job duties. Act as a customer service representative for internal maintenance team by promptly fulfilling tooling requests and providing assistance when needed. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tooling and equipment.
