CoreTrans, LLC based in Somerset, KY was founded in 2002 by Brian Whitaker, making him the 3rd generation in the family with transportation experience. Since 2002, CoreTrans has grown from 25 trucks to over 150 trucks, 300 - 53’ dry van trailers, and a driver fleet of 200 drivers.

Our trucks and trailers are equipped with state of the art aerodynamics and satellite-based mobile communication systems which allow us to track and monitor all vehicles on a 24-hour basis. CoreTrans management staff has over 100 years combined experience in the transportation industry and believes that in today’s business environment, there is no room for error or broken promises.

About the Job

We have been in business in the Kentucky area since 2002 and we are looking to add qualified drivers to our team! We are currently seeking professional drivers for our Louisville, KY Location.

• $500 Orientation Pay
* $2500 Sign on Bonus

Home Time

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
Hiring Requirements
  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
  • 6 months OTR experience
