Source International Design is a small, growing manufacturer producing design-forward seating and furniture products. Our operation includes both standard and custom work, which means flexibility and teamwork matter more than rigid department lines.

The Role

The Commercial Spray Finisher is responsible for preparing and applying finishes to wood components used in upholstered seating and furniture.

This role directly impacts the final appearance and quality of finished products and works closely with production and upholstery teams to support workflow and schedules.

This is a hands-on role in a production finishing environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare wood components for finishing, including sanding, scuffing, cleaning, and masking
Spray / apply finishes to wood components according to production standards
Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and defects
Perform touch-ups and rework as needed
Operate and maintain spray guns, spray booths, and finishing tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area
Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and PPE guidelines
Coordinate with production to meet daily and weekly output needs

Qualifications

Prior commercial spray finishing experience required
Experience finishing wood components in a production or shop environment
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to follow work instructions and finish requirements
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands

Standing and working on your feet for most of the workday
Reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting as required
Ability to lift to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a spray and finishing environment
Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators

Schedule

Full-time
Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime may be required occasionally based on production needs
