Provide technical troubleshooting support to both internal and external customers. Configure and maintain GEHC VPN routers. Configure and troubleshoot IPsec, IKE/ISAKMP VPN tunnels. Configure Route Based VPN tunnels. Configure IKEv2 policy-based VPN tunnels. Apply troubleshooting methodologies to perform system-level analysis, identify root causes, and take appropriate actions for connectivity issues.</p></li><li><p>Continuously maintain knowledge of all GEHC technical components in the current marketplace, remote connectivity platforms, various VPN appliances, and firewall platforms, core use cases, and modality-specific configuration procedures, including software firewalls and connectivity agents.</p></li><li><p>Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers during the troubleshooting process.</p></li><li><p>Properly document troubleshooting steps and communications in the connectivity database.</p></li><li><p>Manage multiple simultaneous tasks/projects and prioritize to meet targets.</p></li><li><p>Perform small to large-scale VPN maintenance, including migrations and consolidations, in partnership with internal and external customers.</p></li><li><p>Support the Connectivity team on other connectivity and special projects.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><u><b>Qualifications/Requirements</b></u></h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience working with Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Security or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal, written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail, and effective decision-making capabilities</p></li><li><p>Excellent customer service skills, and ability to work with customers with various technical skill sets</p></li><li><p>Experience with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel</p></li><li><p><span>Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment Visas now, or in the future, for this job opening.</span></p></li><li><p><span>The successful applicant must comply with GEHC's standard background check, including a post offer drug test.
