Deckhand/Hype Man - Hype Woman/Party Starter

Bio:

Old Town Party Boat is the #1 Party Boat in Florida located in St. Augustine, FL. We operate 90-minute parties daily in the historic Matanzas River located in the downtown bayfront. Our 35ft pontoon boat is certified to transport up to 25 passengers.

Purpose:

Seeking out Deckhand/Hype Man-Hype Woman/Party Starter to run the parties on the boat. We are looking for an individual that is high-energy, fun, and not afraid to be the center of attention while guiding customers for 90-mins into the top party on any boat in Florida.

The goal of this position is geared around providing a fun party experience to our customers - We are seeking out people who thrive in social settings.

Hours:

Part-Time Availability: 10 hours per week.

We operate 7-days a week – Daily day & night tours available.

Pay:

$15.00 per hour + tips.

Responsibilities:

Creating a warm, inviting, and fun environment for our customers.

Oversee patrons to ensure safe operations.

Assisting in the Embarking and Docking.

Light maintenance and housekeeping.

Update and maintain passenger logs.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly inspections.

Quarterly M.O.B. and Fire Drill Training.

Commitment to active communication.

Proper time-management.

Fueling and pump-out.

Requirements:

Local resident of St. Johns County preferred.

Applicants are subject to Pre-Employment/Random drug screenings and Background Checks.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to tolerate unsteady waters, heat, and unfavorable weather conditions.

Work will frequently require individuals to push, pull, bend or stand for periods of time.

Must be able to lift an object of <180lbs out of the water in M.O.B. situations.

Must be able to lift or carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies, and parts up to 50lbs unassisted.
