<p><strong>[ Full-time, Travel Required, Field Engineer]</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Weston, FL</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced <strong>Director of Field Testing Engineering</strong> to lead and drive our field-testing strategy for new customer engagements. This senior leadership role blends high-level coordination with hands-on technical expertise. You’ll shape field operations, mentor engineering teams, and directly engage with customers in the field to ensure top-tier execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and oversee all field testing operations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and project goals</li><li>Serve as the technical authority, ensuring rigorous standards, best practices, and safety guidelines in all field activities</li><li>Develop and implement strategic field testing plans to support new customer acquisition and ongoing technical projects</li><li>Directly engage with customers in the field, providing expert guidance, troubleshooting, and real-time problem-solving</li><li>Mentor and develop field engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer focus</li><li>Draft proposals; estimate labor and equipment requirements and costs based on established rates; defining the project's scope and methodology; and coordinate project logistics</li><li>Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to align field insights with business growth strategies</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of field testing methodologies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred)</li><li>5+ years of experience in field testing, commissioning, or on-site engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity</li><li>Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex customer projects in the field</li><li>Proven experience with Omicron, Doble, Megger and other testing equipment</li><li>Deep technical knowledge of power systems, industrial systems, or large-scale infrastructure projects</li><li>Exceptional customer engagement skills, with a focus on delivering results and fostering long-term partnerships</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in power, renewables, or large-scale industrial sectors</li><li>Familiarity with digital tools for field data collection and analysis</li><li>PMP or other project management certification</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re a seasoned engineering leader with a passion for field execution and customer success, we’d love to hear from you!
