The founder's time is currently swallowed by two things he needs to hand off: reviewing copy drafts before they go to clients, and keeping projects moving on schedule. This role exists to take both off his plate. You'll float across both businesses (and occasionally personal tasks), coordinating projects, reviewing copy with a sharp editorial eye, and bringing order to the moving pieces so the founder can stay focused on strategy. Success looks like a founder who trusts you to catch what he'd catch, move what needs moving, and flag what needs his attention. It's a role for a generalist who likes range, takes ownership, and wants to grow into a genuinely trusted seat.

What You'll Do

Coordinate projects across both businesses, tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables so nothing slips through the cracks.

Review first-draft email and marketing copy (often AI-generated) for brand fit, clarity, and a human tone, editing or flagging anything that reads robotic or off before it reaches the founder or client.

Keep work moving by following up with team members, chasing approvals, and surfacing what's stuck.

Manage the founder's calendar, inbox, and scheduling across time zones, triaging what needs attention and what can wait.

Help systematize content and recurring workflows, turning ad-hoc processes into repeatable ones.

Prepare and organize documents, briefs, and internal notes so information is easy to find and act on.

Support the apparel brand with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks as needed.

Handle occasional personal tasks and errands for the founder.

Communicate and coordinate clearly across email, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail), and project management tools.

What We're Looking For

Some experience supporting a founder, executive, or team is ideal, but we're open to sharp early-career candidates who can show the right instincts. We care more about how you think, write, and follow through than years on paper.

A genuine eye for copy. You can read a draft and tell whether it's on brand, clear, and sounds human rather than machine-generated, and you can fix or flag it. Prior copywriting or editing exposure is a strong plus.

A genuine interest in AI and how to work with it. The founder uses tools like Claude to draft copy and move fast; you should be curious about AI, comfortable using it, and able to bring the human judgment that makes AI output actually usable.

Excellent written English and communication. You write cleanly and follow up without being chased.

Strong organizational instincts. You're the kind of person who naturally tracks loose ends and closes them.

Comfortable juggling multiple businesses and context-switching without dropping balls.

Self-directed and proactive. You don't wait to be told what's next; you spot it.

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) and working knowledge of project management tools, with a willingness to learn new platforms quickly.

Bonus: exposure to e-commerce, email marketing, or agency environments.

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

Copy review turnaround: drafts reviewed and returned within agreed timeframes, with fewer issues reaching the founder over time.

Project throughput: tasks and deliverables kept on schedule across both businesses, with stalled items surfaced early.

Founder time reclaimed: measurable reduction in time the founder spends on copy review and project chasing.

Responsiveness and reliability: consistent follow-through on tasks and communication without needing reminders.

30/60/90-day ramp: by 30 days, owning calendar, inbox, and basic project tracking with guidance; by 60 days, independently reviewing copy and running project follow-ups; by 90 days, operating as a trusted right hand across both businesses with minimal oversight.

What You Get

Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location.

A remote-first role with autonomy and the trust to own your work.

Direct exposure to how a multi-business founder operates across an agency and a brand.

Clear expectations, structured feedback, and room to grow into a more senior support or operations seat.

Back-office support from Mint Source for payroll, onboarding, and HR.
