Full-time Member Service Representative - Beckley
Summary:
As a Full-time Member Service Representative in Beckley, you will be integral to delivering outstanding member service in the financial sector. Reporting to the branch coordinator, your role involves assisting clients with financial transactions, loan processing, opening accounts, and providing essential financial services.
Utilizing your core skills in basic math and financial software, you will ensure accurate handling of member inquiries. Duties: Responsible for transactions of the cash teller, opening accounts such as shares (savings), draft (checking), CD’s, IRA’s and other depository accounts, answering telephones, issuing starter kits on new draft accounts, preparing and issuing money orders, processing of traveler’s checks as well as acting as a receptionist. Will be responsible for assisting with record keeping and the reconcilement of related general ledger accounts. Will provide backup for Branch Associates and for ATM related services. May be required to assist in the pre-processing of loans.
Will market and cross-sell all credit union services. May provide coverage, as needed, on the Saturday rotation schedule at certain branch locations. Any other duties as required and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must have demonstrated pc and typing skills. Basic accounting knowledge and organization skills are recommended. Must be able to perform in a professional manner under stressful situations. A college degree is preferred but not required if candidate has related, comparable work experience.
