Furniture Assembly Technician 

Part-Time and Flexible Opportunity with Local Office Supply Stores

Are you skilled in assembling furniture at office supply retailers or have experience in handy work? We are looking for you! Our team at SFS, Inc. needs experienced Independent Contractors to manage on-site furniture showrooms at office supply stores, making sure displays are properly set up and maintained. Additionally, we offer internal customer assembly projects.

    • $16.75–$18 per hour for showroom services

Requirements

  • Previous experience in merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly is essential.
  • Capability to properly follow client instructions and correctly assemble ready-to-assemble (RTA) products.
  • Knowledge of interpreting plan-o-grams and conducting category resets.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., as well as bend and stand for long periods.
  • Need for reliable transportation, as some travel may be involved.
  • Must have personal tools to complete assembly tasks.
  • Access to the internet and an active email account.
  • Ability to report completed tasks on the same day.
