GBS Customer Service Rep
About the position
This position provides customer service, fields calls, and manages customer cases through investigation and resolution. It also responds to email and online inquiries, monitors lobby supplies, and supports daily operational workflows. This is a front-desk, client-facing role critical to maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at the front desk.
- Input, document, and monitor customer cases through to resolution.
- Respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and online customer support inquiries.
- Maintain lobby appearance and ensure customer-facing supplies are replenished.
- Assist with logging and handling package flow exceptions and operational handoffs.
- Support general administrative functions to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer acumen, including familiarity with office software and digital systems.
- Experience with administrative workflows and case tracking tools is a plus.
