This position is essential to ensuring smooth HR operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of the HR department.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify"><b><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></b></p> <ul type="disc" style="margin-top: 0"> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Assist with the preparation and processing of HR documents, such as employment contracts, onboarding materials, and termination paperwork.</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Liaise with the HQ team on maintaining and updating employee records in our HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Support the HR team in streamlining administrative processes to enhance efficiency.</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Help coordinate the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and responding to employee inquiries.</span> </li></ul> <p><strong><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">LEARNING OBJECTIVES: </span></strong></p> <p style="margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in"><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">1.<span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal"> </span></span><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Student will learn how to effectively manage HR administrative tasks and improve system efficiencies.</span></p> <p style="margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in"><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">2.<span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal"> </span></span><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Student will gain hands-on experience in coordinating various stages of the employee life cycle.</span></p> <p style="margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in"><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">3.<span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal"> </span></span><span style="background: #D3D3D3; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Student will develop skills in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.</span><b><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif"> </span></b></p> <p style="text-align: justify"><b><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">REQUIREMENTS: </span></b></p> <ul type="disc" style="margin-top: 0"> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Resources is preferred.</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.</span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify"><b><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif">This position reports to the Human Resource Manager.</span></b></p><br><div style="line-height:24px"> <span style="color:black;font-weight:bold;font-family: Arial">Standard of Professional Conduct:</span>The IRC and the IRC workers must adhere to the values and principles outlined in the IRC Way – our Code of Conduct.
