Information Technology Analyst JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provide project design, technical support, and maintenance for computer systems, networks, hardware, and software across the organization. This role includes troubleshooting issues, assisting users, and ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Provide Tier II technical support for applications and systems.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Assist with configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of new and existing systems.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Participate in IT projects from planning through implementation, including system upgrades and new technology deployments.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Monitor the IT support ticketing system and prioritize tickets based on urgency and impact. Provide timely, clear communication to end-users throughout the resolution process.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Use remote desktop support tools and mobile device management (MDM) platforms to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for remote and hybrid employees across multiple locations.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Conduct system updates, software patches, hardware replacements, and preventative maintenance tasks on computers, servers, and network devices. Ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.</li></ul></div> <div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Follow established IT standards, procedures, and best practices. Promote cybersecurity awareness and compliance among users, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.</li></ul></div> ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS<div style="margin: 0"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: -0.25in"><li style="margin: 0">Performs other related duties as required, requested and assigned. </li></ul></div>Education and Experience:Vocational/Technical degree with training emphasis in computer technology, network communications, computer repair, and programming with two (2) years of experience in hardware/software diagnostics/repair and software applications preferred; or a combination of high school diploma and relevant industry standard certifications which may include A+, ITF+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, MTA, MCSE in conjunction with (2) years of experience in hardware/software diagnostics/repair and software applications. Licenses or Certifications:Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Special Requirements: None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Knowledge of computer science or computer programming.</li><li>Knowledge of customer service principles.</li><li>Knowledge of electronics.</li><li>Skill in using tact.</li><li>Skill in applying rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems.</li><li>Skill in influencing others,</li><li>Skill in coordinating activities of a project, program, or designated area of responsibility. </li><li>Skill in persuading.</li><li>Skill in performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; calculating decimals, percentages, and fractions; computing discounts, interest, and ratios; and calculating surface areas, volumes, weights, and measures.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.</li><li>Ability to build rapport.</li><li>Ability to listen.</li><li>Ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious before stopping at the first of answers.</li><li>Ability to evaluate, audit, deduce, and/or assess data using established criteria.</li><li>Ability to overhaul, restore, renovate, construct, and/or rebuild equipment, machinery, or objects, requiring adherence to prescribed standards and specifications. </li><li>Ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive, advisory and/or design data and information.</li><li>Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to resolve problems.</li><li>Ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria.</li></ul> PHYSICAL DEMANDSTasks require the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (12-20 pounds). Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally. WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is performed both indoors and, in the field, where essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as machinery or electric currents. Work is performed dealing with crisis situations that require making decisions involving people, resources, and property.
