About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Junior / Trainee Climber. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to start or grow a long-term career in tree surgery. Whether you’re completely new to climbing or already hold some basic tickets and want more hands-on experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Assist climbers and ground staff with day-to-day tree surgery tasks.
  • Learn safe climbing techniques and proper use of equipment.
  • Support with pruning, dismantling, and general tree care.
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.

Requirements

  • Interest in pursuing a career in arboriculture / tree surgery.
  • Good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic.
  • A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Any existing tickets (CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39) are beneficial but not required.
