This job is ON - SITE.FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00Shift: 2ndShift Details: 1400-2230, five shifts per week, flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department may include weekends and holidays. On call rotations included. Job Summary: Performs various routine duties associated with patient encounters; works effectively with other healthcare personnel to provide efficient and effective services; promotes efficient and high quality care and satisfaction; establishes and directs the daily workflow of the Phlebotomy team. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical lab setting. Demonstrated upward progression in Phlebotomy or Clinical Lab setting is required.EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of approved Phlebotomy Training program is preferred.LICENSURE: ASCP certification is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS: Professional and friendly disposition; ability to work under sometimes stressful situations. Excellent customer service, organizational, and motivational skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to effectively train employees and students using different teaching/training styles and methods.
