Responsibilities

  • Own our strategic roadmaps for soccer, generating buy-in from internal stakeholders to achieve goals across the business unit and company.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align product, engineering and sales efforts with the strategic roadmap.
  • Drive revenue growth to meet or exceed targets and influence go-to-market strategies that enable the business unit to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Support a team-first culture, which includes respecting all points of view, valuing debate as a precursor to decision-making, holding others accountable, articulating a vision for future success, and bringing positive energy to your work.

Requirements

  • Soccer experience: You understand the soccer market more than a casual fan. You have either coached, played or worked at a soccer club or league.
  • Financial metrics competence: You have a deep understanding of data such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), gross profit and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • A proven track record: You know which levers drive growth and have a track record of executing on those strategies to achieve results.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach: You know how to work well on a team, and can help focus stakeholders as you develop and execute strategic roadmaps.
  • Autonomous: Once you understand the objective, you'll work towards the goal with confidence in your approach and limited supervision.
  • A change agent: After committing to a project or initiative, you'll work tirelessly to bring about the change you envision.
  • Willingness to travel: This role would benefit from someone who has the flexibility to hit the road occasionally and be on-site with users.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep expertise in SaaS: If you've worked 5+ years at a software company, that's a major plus.
