This paid, summer internship offers hands-on experience focusing on data management, analytics, and operational support to enhance marketing effectiveness and improve decision-making across campaigns, content, and strategic market planning. This is an ideal opportunity for a student pursuing business analytics, marketing analytics, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced B2B environment. How you will do it:<div><div>Market Planning Data & Analytics Support </div><div><ul><li>Assist with our annual market planning data preparation and analysis </li><li>Research and package data for the market planning process including competitive research, energy market data, market opportunity and value-unlock analysis, campaign performance data, etc. </li><li>Consultants spend and job chargeability insights </li><li>Event spend, performance, and ROI (plan vs actual) </li></ul></div><div>CRM & Data Operations </div><div><ul><li>Support development and maintenance of marketing performance metrics </li><li>Contribute to a Saleforce.com analytics dashboard and reporting processes </li><li>Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems </li><li>Support the tracking of leads, campaigns, and engagement metrics </li></ul></div></div><div><div>Content & Asset Data Management </div><div><ul><li>Audit and maintain case study and marketing asset databases </li><li>Assist with launching email campaigns and webinar event support </li><li>Assist in building and optimizing a centralized asset repository (e.g., SharePoint) </li><li>Improve searchability and organization </li><li>Recommend data structure and taxonomy </li></ul></div><div>Data Organization & Process Support </div><div><ul><li>Support updates to legacy content systems (e.g., Qvidian, fact sheets) </li><li>Perform structured, high-volume data integrity tasks </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>You will also engage with other interns throughout the company as part of our internship development training program which culminates in a competitive small group team project. </div></div>What we look for:<ul><li>Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in business analytics, marketing, data science or related field </li><li>Exhibits professionalism, maturity, and confidence when engaging with senior team members </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data </li><li>Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy </li><li>Strong communication skills for coordinating data validation with stakeholders </li><li>Interest in marketing analytics and performance tracking </li><li>Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Excel / data analysis tools, SharePoint or content management systems </li></ul>HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.00 - $22.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
