Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Materials Planning Discipline Chief will advance discipline health to grow our talent pipeline within planning. They will leverage best practices and industry standards to evolve planning processes at P&W, while aligning new processes and skills to future tools and ERP solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own Discipline Health for Materials Planning discipline (leverage APICS / ASCM / Industry standards)
  • Own Materials Planning standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs
  • Leverage best practices to transform SAP and business processes
  • Lead strategic projects and engage with business units within Pratt & Whitney and across RTX business units to evolve the discipline
  • Collaborate across manufacturing sites to manage change and implement new processes
  • Mentor, coach, train future planning SMEs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience in Supply Chain and/or Production Planning; Or an advanced degree with 10 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice-to-haves

  • APICS / ASCM certification
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, APO, and Kinaxis
