How can you make an impact?As an Achievement Specialist you will be responsible for promoting the sales of our best-in-class intervention and supplemental portfolio including; Direct Instruction, ALEKS, Achieve3000, Actively Learn, and others. This role is remote position, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This role requires 80% travel around your territory, and candidates must be in the territory of New York State (excluding the City) and Connecticut. What you will be doing:<ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Identifying customer leads and creating new business to drive K-12 intervention and supplemental sales.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Using multiple market data points, create territory sales plan including events and strategies to prospect for new opportunities, strategies for growing existing relationships, and elevating the McGraw Hill brand in every interaction.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Conducting strong sales presentations of McGraw Hill's solutions to prospective customers.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Collaborate closely with internal teams, customer success, implementation group, product development and product marketing to drive innovation and inform product development.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Demonstrating the ability to form solid partnerships at all levels of a school district to ensure the execution of profitable, recurring, long-term business relationships.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Collaborating with McGraw Hill's Core Curriculum Sales Reps, District Managers, and Implementation Group to craft and leverage complex selling strategies and drive innovation across the teams.</li></ul> What you’ll need to be successful:<ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">3-5 years' experience with sales experience preferred.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Knowledge of the specialized markets (Title I, Special Education, MTSS). </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Knowledge of Direct Instruction highly preferred.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Previous educational sales experience preferred.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Previous experience teaching or selling Direct Instruction, digital Math and Literacy products/programs a plus.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Track record of sales success as demonstrated by having met or exceeded sales quotas.</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal; background: white; margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Strong listening and solution selling skills.</li></ul> Why work for us?At McGraw-Hill, we leverage cutting-edge technology to create innovative learning solutions that support learners at all stages of their educational journey. As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory. The pay range for this position is between $65,000-$85,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
