About the position

The Part-Time Sales Associate position at AutoZone is designed for individuals aged 16 and 17, as part of the Rising Star program. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. Associates will engage with customers, assist with transactions, and maintain store standards while developing valuable skills in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist Customers and Operate Cash Registers using the Znet system.
• Follow Company Policies and adhere to loss prevention measures.
• Maintain Safety Standards by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep the Store Presentable by restocking merchandise and ensuring products are organized.
• Support Car Maintenance by helping diagnose car issues and assisting with installations of wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs.
• Communicate effectively by sharing customer concerns and employee matters with managers.
• Develop Customer Service Skills by actively working on improving service abilities.
• Provide Honest Recommendations based on gained automotive knowledge.
