<div><h2>Porter – Glasgow Royal Infirmary</h2> <p>NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff. The Porting department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary provides patient care in a very busy hospital setting.</p> <p><b>Shift pattern</b> – Mon–Fri, dayshifts.</p> <p><b>Duties</b></p> <ul> <li>Transportation of patients throughout the hospital using equipment such as trollies, chairs, beds.</li> <li>Transportation of dirt/clean linen and waste throughout the hospital, including up and down the link corridor.</li> <li>Collecting specimens.</li> <li>Delivering urgent bloods.</li> </ul> <p><b>All training is provided onsite.</b></p> <p>Driving licence is not essential but would be advantageous.</p> <p><b>Contact</b> – John Russell, Portering & Security Manager.
