Production Assembler/Fabricator - Ogden Utah

Job description: Monday - Friday (6:30am-3pm)

Position overview: The Production General Laborer will be responsible for all tasks required for department efficiency. The Laborer will be assigned to any Production department, including Spray and Assembly.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe work environment with a “safety first” mindset

· Follow all safety processes and procedures

· Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks

· Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products in any Production Department

ASSEMBLY:

Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools

Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (for all departments):

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer

· Dependability to report to work is a must

· Must be able to read a tape measure

· Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools

· Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings

· Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus

· Must pass a drug screen and background check

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license

Education (for all departments):

· High school diploma or GED preferred

Supervisory requirements:

· None

Competencies (for all departments):

· Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task

· Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements

· Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours)

· Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

· Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred

· Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management
