Production Laborer / Warehouse Worker

Acorn Products is a family-owned plastics manufacturing company with deep roots in upstate New York. We specialize in injection-molded plastic components and take pride in doing things the right way — safely, efficiently, and with accountability.
We are looking for a dependable Production Laborer / Warehouse Worker to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role supporting production flow, part handling, and shop organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
At Acorn, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement are expectations.
Responsibilities
- Pack, inspect, and handle molded plastic parts
- Grind scrap and non-conforming parts following procedures
- Move raw materials, regrind, and finished goods throughout the shop
- Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training/certification provided if needed)
- Perform basic shop and warehouse maintenance to keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying counts and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe work environment
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
