RAMP AGENT (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay: $21.25/hr.

Job Duties:

  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure operations.
  • Load and unload cargo to and from aircraft in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Safely operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders, K‑loaders, and tugs.
  • Transport cargo between the terminal, warehouse, and aircraft.
  • Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and guide‑man functions as required.
  • Maintain a secure, safe, and compliant work environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a safety‑sensitive, fast‑paced environment.
