[Remote] Human Resources - Document Management Specialist (contract)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KPMG US is seeking a Document Management Specialist on a contract basis. The role involves managing and classifying documents, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with HR teams to streamline documentation processes.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, classify, and index a wide array of documents to facilitate easy retrieval and reference
  • Conduct comprehensive verification processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data handled, supporting organizational decision-making and compliance
  • Collaborate with HR and People Ops teams to manage documentation specific to human resources, ensuring seamless integration with HR workflows
  • Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of records and information, maintaining high standards of organization and accessibility
  • Uphold rigorous attention to detail across all tasks, ensuring precision in record-keeping and data management
  • Utilize systems such as SharePoint, CMS, and HRIS to efficiently manage documents and information, ensuring compatibility and adherence to best practices
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in document and information management, ideally within a People Ops or HR context
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders
  • Be meticulous and detail-oriented; possess substantial experience and expertise in document management and information systems
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Familiarity with document management systems, including SharePoint, OpenText, and PeopleSoft strongly preferred
