[Remote] Snowflake Lead/Architect (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cognizant is seeking an Architect to leverage expertise in Python and Snowflake to design and implement innovative solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities, driving impactful results for the organization and society.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data architectures using Python and Snowflake technologies to optimize data processing and analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Snowflake solutions
  • Closely work with Data Management team to hand-shake for data processing with Collibra and Snowflake with Python
  • Implement Snowflake Tasks and Streams to automate data workflows and ensure seamless data integration across platforms
  • Utilize Snowflake SQL to perform complex data queries and transformations enhancing data accessibility and insights
  • Manage Snowpipe configurations to streamline data ingestion processes ensuring timely and accurate data availability
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Snowflake environments ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Conduct regular assessments of data architecture and processes identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Snowflake solutions ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake systems to ensure optimal performance and address any issues promptly
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices
  • Contribute to the companys mission by enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities impacting business growth and societal progress
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of Snowflake solutions with business objectives and strategic goals

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming for data processing and analytics tasks
  • Exhibit strong experience with Snowflake Tasks Streams and SQL for effective data management
  • Showcase expertise in Snowpipe configurations to optimize data ingestion processes
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data architectures
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies
  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
  • Python Programming Certification
  • Knowledge on Collibra is a plus
