Route Sales Driver
Job Description:
- Establish an efficient route schedule of stores with accounts in an assigned area.
- Ability to comprehend period sales, programs, and promotions to achieve successful sales, distribution, and placement of products.
- Analyze and explore the market to identify opportunities for new products, service, and shelf space in current and new accounts.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and issues and solve them with assistance of management.
- Maintain and update the condition of in store display units and sales material.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers while establishing good communication to aide in the increase of sales.
- Ability to rotate and maintain accurate inventory of products in store and on truck using the FIFO system.
- Able to use technology, cloud software program (Encompass), to track day to day activities such as: truck inventory, store inventories, product returns, credits and invoices.
- Track expenses in app-based software (Concur).
- Able to manage company vehicle maintenance schedule with direct supervisor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills/ sense of urgency.
- Overnight stay required at company expense.
- This position will typically start at 4 am to match our customer’s schedule.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid divers license and have a good driving record
- Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds as part of regular job duties.
