<div><img><img><img><img><img><img><img> <div> <div> <img> </div> </div> </div>Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (Part-Time) – Digital Media Fall 2026- Content for Streaming Department: School of Art and Design Duration: Immediate Need - May 2026 Location: Remote Application Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2025 – 12:00 p.m.. The interested individual(s) will have the following qualifications: <ul style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Bachelor of Degree in Arts, Media, or Communications, or relevant equivalent. </li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a social media role. </li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Proficiency in Brand effectiveness, Audience and Engagement Metrics, and Business alignment is preferred.</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Academic experience teaching at the University or College level preferred.</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences.</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Highly effective communication and organizational skills</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and the use of remote delivery and educational technologies is an asset</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Capacity to commit to the course development over the next 4-5 months is required</li> </ul> The responsibilities of the assignments include but are not limited to: <ul style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Act as a Subject Matter Expert and work closely with an Instructional Designer and Program Leader to plan and develop curriculum content</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Develop a course outline including learning outcomes, evaluations, required resources and weekly learning plans for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Participate in meetings with various stakeholders to address the proposed course(s)</li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;">Respond to and amend documents, as required to address internal reviews</li> </ul> <div> <div> Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal at <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers" target="_blank">https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers</a> until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
