Sr Analyst, Sr Engineer, Microsoft Platforms
About the position
As a result of sustained growth, Panera Bread is actively seeking a qualified Microsoft engineer responsible for the continued development and maintenance of Panera's Microsoft infrastructure. This includes maintaining Active Directory (AD), Identity Management (IDM), Patching, Distributed File System (DFS), Azure, and other obligations of Panera. The engineer will review and maintain Microsoft policies and procedures and provide guidance to other internal organizations. Additionally, the role involves looking for continuous improvements and providing key feedback to architecture and engineering for enhanced protection of key Panera information system resources. This role is Hybrid, working out of our Fenton, MO offices three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining Panera Microsoft Server environment including development of new capabilities
- Maintain, update and implement Panera Domains and Active Directory environment
- Maintain, update and implement Panera IAM solutions SCCM, Intune and ARC management capabilities
- Collaboration tools management such as Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- Manage and maintain Azure tenant
- Build and deploy new Microsoft servers
- Prepare monthly metrics on any measurable compliance activities
- Work closely with other organizations including IT Support on assisting with Microsoft support tools
- Present new concepts and recommendations to leadership
- Provide Panera leadership feedback on potential future compliance risks the company may face in the future during day to day duties
- Assist in remediation of any audit findings that affect Microsoft platforms.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, that can communicate security and compliance issues to executives, end users, and security experts in an effective and appropriate manner
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge and experience with various Microsoft platform products such as Azure, AD, SharePoint, etc.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft configurations
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft Licensing
- Practical experience with PC, Server and LAN Security
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Architecture and Design, Information Security Standards and Technical Risk Assessment methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft platforms and in working with external parties on problem resolution.
