Work Location Springfield Campus Department Center for Resource Planning Management Hiring Range 15.00 Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.Department/Employer Operating Hours 8am - 5pm (Mon-Fri) How many hours per week are required? A minimum of 10 hours Description of Primary Duties Basic office tasks include answering the phone, greeting guests, sorting mail, copying and scanning documents. Assist the CRPM Grants and Environmental Manger in drafting or reviewing grant application materials or environmental assessments. Will work on collecting and entering data into spreadsheets and may need to review documents for accuracy and completeness. Help maintain a clean and safe office environment and ensure office supplies and resources are properly organized.Required Qualifications Must be work study qualified. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Must be detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required. Interest in the field of city planning, transportation, or community development is preferred. A passion for improving the quality of communities is highly preferred.
