Victim Witness - Relocation Specialist

<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Interview and assess the needs of victims and witnesses as it pertains to relocation and services </li><li>Work closely with Baltimore City Police Department to conduct threat assessments </li><li>Facilitate emergency temporary and permanent relocation of victims and witnesses </li><li>Accompany members of the Baltimore City Police Department Witness Relocation Unit on safe house checks </li><li>Arrange for transportation to and from appointments and court appearances when necessary </li><li>Obtain and review police reports and criminal background checks </li><li>Assist the staff of the Victim Witness reception room to answer phones, sign in victims and any other day to day tasks </li><li>Maintain records on the expenses associated with relocation </li><li>Maintain monthly statistics for VOCA grant </li><li>Any other duties that fall within the Victim Witness Division </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or at least two years’ of equivalent work-related experience.
