Night Shift Parcel Sorter – Leeds (LS9)
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier client based in the Leeds (LS9) area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing operation with long-term prospects.
Location: Leeds – LS9
Shift Pattern: Night shifts, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Pay Rate: From £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate
As a Parcel Sorter, you will play a key role in ensuring parcels are processed accurately and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:Accurately sort and organise incoming parcels by route and destination
Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
Ensure parcels are correctly labelled and categorised
Work closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines
Identify damaged parcels and follow company procedures for reporting and handling
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maximising space efficiency
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Follow all company health, safety, and security policies
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parcel sorting role is desirable but not essential
Ability to stand for long periods and lift parcels of varying weights
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime
Own transport or reliable means of getting to site
