Role: Devotional / Guided Journal Writer for Kids
We are looking for writers to create devotional and guided journals for kids and pre-teens.
These journals may include:
• Short devotional texts or reflections
• Simple explanations of values and themes (gratitude, kindness, faith, courage, etc.)
• Prompts for personal reflection and writing
• Questions, short activities, and space for the child to respond
We will provide editorial guidelines for age range, tone, themes and overall structure.

What We Are Looking For
• Native or near-native English with excellent writing skills
• Experience writing for children and/or devotional, spiritual or reflective content
• Ability to write in a simple, warm and encouraging tone, suitable for kids and pre-teens
• Sensitivity to values-based and possibly Christian content
• Education in Literature, Theology, Education, Psychology, Creative Writing or similar is a plus
• Ability to follow a structured brief and write in a clear, concise way
• Reliability and respect for deadlines
AI Usage
AI can be used to support research or idea generation, but not to generate final journal entries or full manuscripts.

Compensation
Budget on Upwork is indicative; final fee will be agreed based on length, word count and structure.
