YouTube - Channel Manager & Community Moderator

About Us

We're a holding company operating three distinct brands: a consumer food brand (beef jerky), an entertainment/gaming brand (tabletop game with trading cards), and a subscription platform management (creator-led personal brand).

We're building out a dedicated channel manager for each platform rather than hiring generalists — because what works on Instagram is completely different from what works on TikTok or YouTube.

The Role
You'll manage YouTube channels and Google Ads across all three brands.

On YouTube, that means posting Shorts and long-form content (created by our editors), optimizing titles/descriptions/tags for discovery, managing the community tab and comments, and reporting weekly.

On Google, you'll run search, display, and YouTube ad campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.

What You'll Do

  • Upload and optimize all YouTube content (Shorts + long-form) across multiple channels
  • Write or refine video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO and CTR
  • Manage community tabs, comments, and engagement on YouTube
  • Build, run, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube pre-roll)
  • A/B test ad creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies
  • Track and report weekly on growth, engagement, and ad performance
  • Coordinate with thumbnail designers and video editors on what's needed
What You'll Be Measured On

We have targets for subscriber growth, Shorts and long-form performance (view duration, CTR, retention), and Google Ads efficiency (ROAS, CPA, CTR).

We expect consistent weekly reporting and quick adjustments when ad costs move out of range. Full benchmarks shared at onboarding.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of YouTube — how the algorithm recommends content, what drives impressions, and how to grow a channel
  • Experience with Google Ads (Search + Display at minimum; YouTube ads a strong plus)
  • Understands video

SEO:
titles, descriptions, tags, end screens, cards

  • Data-driven and comfortable in YouTube Studio and Google Ads dashboards
  • Can manage multiple channels with different audiences and content strategies
Nice to Have

  • Experience in e-commerce, gaming, or creator-brand verticals
  • Familiarity with A/B testing thumbnails and title strategies
  • Understanding of how Shorts and long-form complement each other for channel growth
Part-time to start.

If you're someone who actually watches YouTube analytics for fun and knows why some thumbnails get clicked and others don't, you're our person.
